I love finding new music to write to, especially when it vibes with whatever I'm already working on.

On my current WIP I've been listening to Too Much by Pale - it's really kind of honest and a bit angsty - it's the only song that can get me in the writing mood for this project. I listen to other things once the words start flowing, but I have to start with this one to get in the main characters head.Kai Bishophttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12972174467968735376noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4098049071459822748.post-35138987902089000862015-10-27T09:06:01.932-07:002015-10-27T09:06:01.932-07:00Phoenix: I do that too! Sometimes so strongly that I end up tearing up if one of the songs unexpectedly starts playing and it brings a sad or emotional scene to mind.Zoë Marriotthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01275368005359548134noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4098049071459822748.post-13393361263471571872015-10-27T08:52:42.174-07:002015-10-27T08:52:42.174-07:00Very cool! I don't think I have a particular song for any of my writing projects, but the soundtrack from Michael Flatley's Lord of the Dance has become connected in my head with War for the Oaks by Emma Bull. I happened to listen to the CD for the first time when I had just been re-reading the book, and I found that certain songs felt like they could be the soundtrack for particular bits of the story. I love both of them separately, but they're even better combined! Phoenixgirlnoreply@blogger.com
