BOOK NOOKS
Hello, lovely readers! Today I've posted over at the Author Allsorts, so to read my faintly embarrassing reminiscences of all the odd places that I used to hide out to read as a kid, mosey across there now.
I've always been a nook reader too! When I was little I frequently got babysat by my aunt and uncle, who had a springer spaniel I was scared of (she was very friendly, but I was afraid of all dogs at that stage). There was a big cushy chair - the kind with removable back and seat cushions - right in front of the bookshelf with all the kids' books, so I would climb into the chair and put the back cushion on my lap as a barrier against the dog, and sit there happily reading for hours.

ReplyDeleteNot going to lie - that sounds way more awesome than any of my book nooks.
