SHADOWS ON THE MOON GIVEAWAY: CLOSED

Credit to Lauren of I was a Teenage Book Geek
Well ho ho ho, faithful readers. It's Christmas Eve, and I now announce the Shadows on the Moon ARC giveaway....CLOSED.

As you can see by looking at the Followers in the sidebar, we've not quite managed to reach the 200 mark, and since Christmas is tomorrow, it doesn't look like we're going to either. But I'm still impressed and awed by everyone's hard work in pushing up the total so far so fast. And this means that although I will *not* be putting up a YouTube video of me singing the blues (phew) I think it's only fair that I should give away the copies of Shadows on the Moon that I put aside for the purpose earlier on.

So using a random number generator, I shall pick three winners from among all my blog followers and all the people that commented in the SHADOWS ON THE MOON GIVEAWAY: REVISED post. I'll announce them on Monday, when the Christmas festivities have calmed down a bit, and post them out in the New Year.

I hope this makes everyone happy. Please now return to your regularly scheduled Christmas fun.

Isabel: you can always find the blog by searching my name on Google. It will take you to my website, and my website has the link to the blog.

Amanda: It's not quite Christmas yet. Quickly go to the REVISED post and leave a comment. But I won't be able to count any names left after midnight tonight, so hurry!

Ahhh it's a shame we didn't get to 200 :(
Good luck everyone in the competition!
Merry Christmas to all.

Zoë: Yes, you're right. I just hope I'll have access to the internet at the hotel. I know I won't win; I never do, but maybe... I have a chance...

bfree: Well, I knew it was an ambitious target. I think we did very well, all told. 200 in 2011!

Isabel: That's just what I always say, but you never know. Cross your fingers.

Oh well, better 167 dedicated followers than an extra bunch who joined just for the sake of it (:

Very well said, Alex! And Merry Christmas.

Oh my gosh, oh my gosh. I'm sooooo excited. I really really hope that I get a copy 'cos I worked so hard to get TSK and DotF (it took WEEKS). I'm really happy for you, Zoe, that you've written another book and all. And even if I don't win, at least I'll get a copy when SotM is published.

(That DOES NOT mean that I don't mind not winning. Haha XDD .

I love you, Zoe. I'm hoping I'll get a copy.

Make sure you post one second after you've decided the winners, okay? I really need to know...

Wait, I just re-read my comment. Don't get me wrong, though. I don't mind if anyone else wins the copy; I'll just be happy for them like I'd expect them to be happy for me for winning :D .

I missed out a bracket in my first comment.

It's all right, Megha - I'm sure no one could have misunderstood you. And I'll post on Monday at about 4:00-5:00, like I always do. Take deep breaths, okay?

Zoë, I just had the most MAJOREST writing spree!!!!!! I'm sooo pleased with myself!!!!!! The only thing that is dampening my good mood right now is that I have misplaced my writing notebook and it is nowhere to be found. :'( Luckily I have my shiny new updated story outline typed up and at hand, so I haven't despaired completely. I'm sure it will turn up sometime...

Anywaaaay...

Merry Christmas, everyone!!!!! Well, it's obviously not Christmas in England right now, since it's 1:00 in the morning, but...
I got a Lady Gaga CD!!!!! And my sister got a Glee CD. You know I actually really like Glee now. My sister does too. :)

Back to writing. I have a problem. I've always written very slowly. Not literally; I type fast, but my progress is always very slow. This is because I always feel as if everything has to be *perfect*. I always have to think about a sentence a bit before I write it, because I can't live with a piece of writing that I don't like much. Do you follow? It's kind of hard to explain. I always tell myself, "It's okay, just scribble something down now and you can edit later," but it always bugs me when my writing isn't that good. I don't know how you could help me with this, but I thought I might mention it to you. Have you ever had this problem? Do you know what i mean?

Well done with your writing and Merry Christmas, Isabel! I'll have a think about your question and try to answer it some time next week, okay? Enjoy your holiday.

Four o'clock to five o' clock? I'm going to have to wait a long time today.

Anyway, yesterday realised that someone had broken my booklight. I cried for really long, but then I remembered this giveaway and my hopes were back up! So even if I win or not, thanks Zoe for making my day.

Zoe, you might get a hundred posts this year.

Isabel said...

Thanks, Zoe. I realize my comment might be a bit confusing, but I hope you understand. I'm looking forward to your post.

Zoë Marriott said...

Megha: Hopefully!

Isabel: I'll have a think and try to answer in today's post, okay?
